Tonight, we will be celebrating the 11th birthday of the tall, beautiful, vibrant, charming, talented young lady she has become, thanking Almighty God for His kindness, mercy, and miraculous healing power all the while. I’m sorry… that’s not a description of a “church”. That’s a description of a social club. Add “Tuesday drink specials” and it’s a description of a bar! If you’re looking for a church, I’d strongly recommend including “preaches the whole Word of God” and “strives to glorify God in all things” as top criteria. Good people, music, and food are all nice features, but you can find that just about anywhere without looking too hard, really. If you are looking for a church that looks like the world, you’re not looking for God, and you’re not likely to find Him there.
